This Privacy Policy explains how the Youth Day app (“the app,” “we,” “us”) handles information. We have designed the app to collect as little information as possible. We do not sell your data, we do not use advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location, and the app does not access them. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software, and it does not use any identifiers to track you.
When you open the app, it downloads the current event schedule from our servers over a secure (HTTPS) connection. This is a normal web request to retrieve content; we do not attach any personal identifier to it.
The app may offer an optional exit survey. If you choose to fill it out and tap Submit, your survey responses (such as ratings and any text you type) are sent to our servers together with the date and time of submission. These responses are submitted anonymously — they are not linked to your name, email, account, or device identifier, because the app does not collect that information in the first place. Submitting the survey is entirely voluntary; if you do not submit it, nothing is sent.
Please do not include personal or sensitive information in free-text survey answers, since those answers are stored as you write them.
The app saves a small amount of information locally on your device to make it work the way you expect — for example, your chosen viewing preference and a note of whether you have already submitted the survey for a given event. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the app.
The app is intended to share schedule information for a youth event. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no personal information is collected, none is stored about or associated with any individual user.
Anonymous survey responses may be retained by us in aggregate to help improve future events. Because these responses are not associated with any individual, they cannot be used to identify you.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
